Social Studies - End of year

It's been a great year in Social Studies! I taught some of these students in Grade 2 and I was very happy to see the people they have become. I will miss this group of students!

In term 3, we worked on Human Rights and students competed in a debate.

For the last 2-3 weeks, we worked on an individual research project based on the disciplines of the MYP.

Monthly Musical Update

Dear Parents,

A big thank you to those who were able to come and support your students throughout the Year End Performance and Graduation Ceremonies this past weekend.  The students spent a large portion of their music lessons this term preparing their songs, dances and compositions and it was fantastic to see them performing confidently on stage.

I wish all of you a safe and happy summer holiday.

Musically yours,

Ms. Shay

JNL Newsletter

Dear parents and students of G6,

Congratulations on the graduations!
I hope you had an amazing graduation ceremony, and hope you had a good time with your child in the school life of primary.

It was nice time to have G6 JNL classes for me since this January.
All of them tried on every tasks as much as they could.
And now they improved their Japanese language skills.

In this and last month, we were focusing to study about mass communication. They created an advertisement of book, posters according to context around the text, and speech.

Also, I really appreciate all parents for your cooperation and support in this year.
Because of them, we could concentrate our tasks at Japanese classes.
Primary has been finished and secondary will be started soon.
I am sure that they can do it and enjoy at next stage which they will face soon.

Again, congratulations and best wishes for the next adventure for all G6 students!
Have a great summer break.

Yours sincerely,
Tetsuya Higa
Japanese Teacher
